After a long hiatus, LaVar Ball announced Wednesday via Instagram that Big Baller Brand — a shoe brand originally launched by Ball and his family in 2016 — is back.

It appeared the brand would dissolve following lawsuits between the Ball family and Alan Foster, a former brand executive no longer involved in the business.

“The Big Baller Brand is back and better than ever.

LaVar made controversial statements throughout that time leading to ratings spikes and elevated interest in the Ball family and what its leader had to say.

Hence, it’s possible the brand could become a collectors’ item due to its outrageous cost, as well as what the brand represents: the dysfunctional Ball family era.
