John Lynch: Feds want ex-city official Lynch to get four years in prison in bribery …

Feds in their sentencing memorandum filed late last week included an undated photograph of Lynch grabbing money from an unidentified person in the driver’s seat of a car.

The case, in which Lynch signed a plea agreement three days before it became public last August, sparked a scandal at the ZBA, where an unnamed member was allegedly influenced by Lynch to vote for the property’s permit.

The U.S. Attorney’s office has also requested documents pertaining to Boston properties linked to Galvin’s real estate agency that have come before the ZBA, Kelly’s report also said.

An unnamed ZBA member in May 2017 voted in favor to grant a permit extension for the unnamed developer’s property, at the advice of Lynch, and the developer paid Lynch the bribe in the form of a silent broker’s fee across five instances, feds say.

Lynch, who’s worked with the city for over 20 years, is asking for a 30 month sentence.
