OKLAHOMA CITY — Police have confirmed that one person was shot Thursday afternoon at Penn Square Mall in Oklahoma City, saying the incident is not an active shooter situation, according to our news partners at KOCO-TV.
“At this time, we’ve located one shooting victim from the incident at Penn Square Mall,” police officials tweeted .
Police said they are only aware of one shooting victim, but they have urged people to stay away from the mall.
Penn Square Mall has been closed for the rest of Thursday night.
Thunder team officials say that the team and Thunder employees were at the mall at the time of the shooting.
