Brian Tarantina, 'Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' Actor, Died of Overdose …

The death of the “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” actor Brian Tarantina last month was caused by an accidental drug overdose, the medical examiner’s office in New York said on Tuesday.

Mr. Tarantina, 60, was found in his apartment in Manhattan on Nov. 2.

At the time, his publicist, Laurie Smith, said he died of “complications from a severe health crisis he experienced a few months ago.”On Tuesday, the city’s Office of Chief Medical Examiner said in a statement that the cause of death was “acute intoxication by the combined effects of fentanyl, heroin, diazepam and cocaine.”Mr.

Tarantina’s body was found after police officers responded to a call at roughly 12:40 a.m. that reported an unconscious man in an apartment in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood.

Officers said they found the actor unresponsive on a couch and pronounced him dead at the scene.
